I will need volunteer trainers ,I will talk to people about my vision invite them to be a part of it once my volunteers understand where we are going, together we will visit schools with letters introducing what we intend to do .Once  we are approved then we will involve the students by inviting them to volunteer to be trained.My volunteers and I will give out questionaires ,together we evaluate the  the questionaires ,organize focus group discussions I will then organize the a training of trainers workshop, thereafter,we set out to organize the Girls leadership training.After the training we set up   clubs and allow the girls to choose their leaders  and their matron

our role will be to visit the clubs to monitor their progress a also engage them in new learning experiences.

Life for teens  today is no longer playground it  is a jungle  out there with tough choices ,peerpressure  and anxiety  about how people see them and most times self destructive behavior which has its own attendant consequences .for teenagers to stand up right tomorrow to regain their identity improve their creativity and innate potentials which they posses  there  is need   to bring  them closer  as friends  and teach them  values and effective habits  so that they can make successful transition into  an empowered womanhood. I want to be a part  of that solution.

My Plan

I am going to organize a Girls leadership trainning project for 1000 girls annually.

organize interviews and focus group discussions

 organize leadership training workshops

commit them to pass on the information to their peers

Reinforce the trainings  through club formation in the clubs and orgarnizecompetions 

My commitment;

On my return from the2009 warriors without weapons program I intend to organize a training session and  pass on all that I learnt  to my colleaques,family and friends . I will ensure that my personal and proffessional life reflects all that  I will learn.

My action

I believe that  for change to take place there must be a transformation and I am hoping to be transformed. I believe that the experiences that I will get from this program will inspire and motivate me to take action in my location .I am willing to use all that I will learn to better myself and my community.

Currently I work with teenage girls in my locality so, I will replicate vital issues into their  training   curriculum so that  they would also benefit  from the warriors without weapons experience and be able to take part in making a difference in our society.

I am a vibrant and  energetic development worker . I do a lot of life coaching and facilitate leadership and life building skills trainings for organizations

I feel motivated, optimistic and encouraged

Professional doubts;

I do not agree with the artificial limits created by society which limits women maximum potential because of their sex .I believe that any body (male or female) can do any task if given an opportunity and adequate training.

 Mydreams;

I want to leave a legacy that is sustainable. I want to improve the lives of people by giving them the tools to do the job. I want to see them engage in cause that counts I want to empower and  mentor girs for responsibility

My challenges;

One of the things that challenges me is the increase in the rate of violence against girls and women which has led to the vulnerability of the girlchild, her loss of identity and self esteem, thereby limiting her creativity and innate potentials .Also, I feel challenged by the disruption of time tested value system amongst youth which has led to the increase in vices and risky behaviours.

These issues challenges me and I am inspired to want to help as many people as I can in a way that will significantly  improve their lives so that they can achieve self actualization and develop enduring patterns of values  and healthy  behaviour. I am passionate about brining the girlchild out of the box of mental slavery, and giving her the needed leverage to excel by empowering & educating girls for responsibility
